The curved face is not tangent to both the top and the bottom in any example except the full radius. I think there are some basic geometry ideas you've skipped over here. The angle away from tangency changes around the sweep. Plus, the arc does not remain vertical around the sweep.

Plus, SolidWorks sweeps do not allow tangency across GC even using Mark's method.

Are you sure you got what you intended? Can you even state what you intended?
