It seems that some of the most basic features in SolidWorks are sometimes some of the most popular. Such was the casewhen SolidWorks 2009 SP0 temporarily took out the print selection box. After I posed about the new look print interface I received quite a few comments and emails from people who already missed it.
SolidWorks 2009 Service Pack 3.0 brings that function back. Let's take a look. Under print range you select current screen image and then selection:
You will then get the ever familiar box that you can drag around and re-size to your delight:
The re-release of the print selection functionality should be a welcome sight to a few of you out there! It was never meant to be gone for good, it was just in need of some re-coding to get it to perform better and for it to work better with new additions found in SolidWorks 2009.

I see welds in the fixture and would like to know how to apply them to my drawings. Have I erased a toolbar that has weld beads on it?
