So after 15 hours of airplanes and airports, I have finally arrived in Barcelona. Traveling always seems to take twice as long as it actually is for some reason. Anyhow, the weather is nice, and the hotel is beautiful. I have already run into Matt Lombard, and Devon Sowell, and the rest of the blog crew should be arriving over the next few hours.
Now for the Solidworks 2009 Service Pack 0 news. Word has it that it will be available for download sometime today. So if your looking to get switched over to 2009, be sure to check the downloads page in the customer portal. DVD's aren't expected to start arriving until early October, evident ally, it takes quite a long time to make nearly 800,000 DVD's! If you download and install, you will have the same files that will arrive on the DVD, so no need to uninstall and then reinstall once the DVD's arrive.
Next on the schedule is to relax a little, take a shower, then grab some drinks and catch up with friends. There is a welcome dinner and cocktail reception tonight. Stay tuned for more news as it happens, and pictures are soon to follow.
