For those that use the Command Manager, you finally have the ability to move it! I have used it since its inception, and always found it useful. With the introduction of the shortcut toolbar in 2008, I don't use it as much, but its still there for the more obscure tools. In Solidworks 2009, you can now move the command manager to the left, right, and top edges of the screen. When you click on the command manager back round, you will see these three arrow buttons pop up:
Drop the command manager on one of the arrows, and it will be placed on that screen edge.
Do you use dual monitors? Here is a bonus hint, drag the command manager to your second monitor! It will also snap to any of the four edges! However, it will stay in the vertical orientation as shown below:




Hi there. Do you know whether Solidworks 2008 dialog box positions can be moved away from the center of the screen? I just started using dual monitors and that is my only real annoyance, i.e. that the box pops up on the split making them hard to read. Thanks, Joe
