As a precursor to the upcoming posts about 2009, I want to offer up a few things everyone should keep in mind.
First, all the posts and screen shots have been created from Solidworks 2009 Beta 2 and 3. Most of the posts have been created and are simply waiting to be automatically posted at a pre-determined time and day. That being said, as the pre-release versions come out, if any of these highlighted functions change, I will update them accordingly.
Second, being that these functions are based off the beta version, they may look different and act different once service pack 0 is released. These posts are intended to give you a broad overview of what these functions are, and how to use them.
Third, over the next month, I will only be covering a small portion of new features, and I highly encourage you to visit the other blogs as they will most likely cover different topics than I do.
Finally, have fun with the new version once it comes out, and give the What's New Document a good reading to see what will help you use Solidworks even better. If there is any topic you would like to get more information on, feel free to comment on it, or drop me an email and I will try to cover it a little more for you.

Oh, you mean you ARE going to leave a bit for us to cover too? ;-) Just kidding, Mike! I arrived a bit late to the beta testing, so I'm really looking forward to what you have to say about the new features and how they transformed from beta to beta.
