When sketching lines, circles, rectangles, or slots, you now have an option to check in the property manager to automatically add dimensions:
What this allows you to accomplish is to start sketching an entity, and you can enter the dimension you want. It then adds the dimension for you eliminating the step of adding a dimension as a secondary step.
For circles you have one other option to consider:
By checking the diameter dimensions box, that will auto dimension the diameter as opposed to auto dimensioning the radius. This was a good change that was made in Beta 3 because people were dimensioning in different ways.

You could go to tools, option. A new window will open. Later on you go to System Options, and look for Sketch. In the options of Sketch select the box (Enable on screen numeric input on entity creation) Click OK and it is done. The menu will be available.

HOW do you get the DIMENSIONS option to display in the options. I just loaded 2009 and it does not give me the option.
